The last four years will be unforgettable for all of us. Years full of tensions, fear, grief, deaths and disasters. In all this, however, I did not stop doing what I love, painting. This kept me strong and helped me deal with many situations with more composure and courage. Life did not stop despite the difficulties. Art in all its forms continued to flourish and give light and hope to all people.
These artworks are dedicated both to the people who fought for the Olympic Games and to those who fought for something more important, human life. I feel proud of our “warriors” as without them we would not have hoped for anything. In both sports and life we struggle and learn to push our limits. This is our strength; this is the light of life.
